| lovely vibrant purple fruit, lively and intense, tart and crunchy, good flow across palate, fine tannins |
| crunchy red cherry plum fruit - a touch of salted japanese plum on the nose. Rich and sweet fruited on the palate - firm tannins, lookign for a tad more vibrancy/nervosity of acid. Not screamingly varietal but well made and harmonious. |

| brilliant colour, vivid, purple edge... nose has a pine needle edge, dark fruits. Raw, pure, primary. Chewy mid palate, nice drive. Plushness, acid and savoury edge all inherent to this variety. |
