prunes on hot terracotta tiles, big mouthful of warm fruit flavour, wrapped in a big thick blanket of tannin |
a touch of VA lift, some red and black fruit and chocolate coated raspberry lollies. Touch of licorice - quite hard, astringent tannins even for sangrantino |
licorice, port, dried cherry, rose petals. prune. lots of very dry dusty tannins |
Brickish hue. restrained nose... terracotta, orange peel. Palate tight, soaring tannin, fruit doesn't deliver the stuffing. |
